Murmur Terms of Use

Murmur Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Murmur, an iOS app from Read · Build · Ship. By using Murmur, you agree to them.

License to use Murmur

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Murmur on your own Apple devices for your own use. Murmur lets you import EPUB books and listen to them with on-device voices, and read along on your device. PDF and MOBI support are on the roadmap.

Your content and the files you import

Murmur is not a content store. It only opens files you already have. The books you import are yours. They stay on your device. We do not claim any rights to your files and we do not access them. You are responsible for the legality of the books you import and for having the right to use them. Do not use Murmur to infringe copyright or other rights.

Subscriptions

Murmur is free to use with the limits described in the app. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription with three plans - weekly at $9.99, monthly at $24.99, and yearly at $59.99. There is no free trial. Payment is billed through your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

No warranty

Murmur is provided “as-is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Read · Build · Ship is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Murmur.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
