Orbit Privacy Policy

Orbit Privacy Policy
Orbit is built privacy-first. Your focus sessions, your streaks, and the apps you choose to shield stay on your device. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means, and it is written to match Orbit’s App Store privacy label line for line.
Everything stays on your device
Orbit stores your sessions, plan, streaks, history, and insights only on your iPhone. There is no account to create and no sign-in. Nothing about when you focus or for how long is uploaded to us or to anyone else.
Screen Time and Family Controls
Orbit shields apps using Apple’s Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. You pick the apps with Apple’s own picker, and the list of what you block is stored only on your device. Orbit never sees the contents of those apps, and nothing about which apps you shield or when you open them is sent anywhere. Ending a session always gives your apps back, and removing Orbit removes the shields.
No account, no analytics, no ads
There is no account and no sign-in. This version of Orbit contains no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. Orbit does not build a profile of you and does not sell or share data, because it does not collect it in the first place.
Subscriptions
Orbit Pro is an auto-renewing subscription handled by Apple through your Apple ID. Purchases and restores are processed by Apple and by our subscription provider, RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and the receipt needed to confirm your subscription status. It does not receive your name, your sessions, or the apps you shield. See Apple’s and RevenueCat’s privacy policies for how they handle purchase data.
Crash and diagnostic data
If a future version adds crash reporting, it will be limited to anonymous, technical crash information with no personal content, and this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated to say so before it ships.
Children
Orbit is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone. Because Orbit stores nothing off your device, there is no data for us to collect from any user, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it, and material changes will be reflected in the App Store privacy label before the update ships.
