Orbit Terms of Use

Orbit Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Orbit, an iOS app from Read · Build · Ship. By using Orbit, you agree to them.
The app
Orbit is a focus timer that helps you hold a session and, with Orbit Pro, shields apps you choose using Apple’s Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. It is provided as-is. Orbit is a gentle focus tool for yourself, not a security product or a parental control. It always lets you end a session, and removing the app removes the shields.
Your data
Orbit stores your sessions, streaks, plan, and block list only on your device. You are responsible for your device and its backups. Deleting the app deletes its data.
Subscriptions and payment
Orbit is free for your first focus sessions. Orbit Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that makes sessions unlimited and adds app blocking, history, and insights. It is billed through your Apple ID at the price shown in the app, which is set by App Store territory. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store account settings under Subscriptions. Payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple under their policies, not by us.
Acceptable use
Use Orbit for your own personal focus. Do not attempt to break, resell, or misuse the app, and do not rely on it as a security control or to keep anyone else out of their apps.
No warranty and limited liability
Orbit is provided without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Read · Build · Ship is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as Orbit evolves. The date at the top will change when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
